I seem to have more work than play...but I do find the time to play with my new puppy..he is so good...he has been learning real fast with all the commands..he can sit, down, leash walking, and for sure the word "No"
Well the new tutorial is a bracelet/Cuff. Very good for the beginner. Stay tuned for some pictures...

One Wire Bezel Pendant!
by Jackie Koppany on 09/01/11This one has been a great tutorial for those who want to expand a bit into the lapidary world. Many have had lots of fun with this one and created many different looks. I made a nice 2 and 3 stone pendant using the same technique in the tutorial, then went on and made a pair of earrings and bracelet/cuff....I hope you will try this one....it really will open many new designs for you...
Our Newest Love!
by Jackie Koppany on 08/15/11
Attie (aught T) he is a Aussie Shepherd. He is so smart and cute.
He spends his days in the shop and most of the time he sleeps, then we go home and he eats, plays, sleeps some more and back to eating and playing until bed time.
He has learn to chew on the all the wire on the floor and manage to find that little bead that dropped off from the table...so so to speak he really has been a big help here in our studio/shop.
Thank You Attie

Jobs Tears!
by Jackie Koppany on 05/16/11
Summer is arriving and how do I get a jump start on motavation for another year of planting flowers, weeding, watering, gardening, let alone making jewelry.
I found a great article that was written by Pat Capo, (her screen name) she wrote an article about Jobs Tears, this is a plant that grows beads, yes beads....I was so taken by this article that i found some of the seeds and planted them, it took a while for them to sprout, when they did I found my motivation to continue on with another year of the chores summer brings. I have planted my plants outside now and await for them to grow big, strong, and give me some natual beads. I will keep you all updated with my Jobs Tears..I plan on selling the seeds in the retail store and on our online store, this will be of course if we harvest some beads in around August, they won't be ready to sell until around Jan. 2012. But all the fun in the meanwhile is worth the wait.
Thank you Pat!

My Hopie Babie Angels...
by Jackie Koppany on 10/26/10
These are so cute, they were created for the smaller person (child) or maybe a pair of earrings...they are half the size of the of the ones we made in the tutorial. As stated in the tutorial that all you have to do is adjust your wire gauge to create many different sizes .
Hope you have enjoyed our New My Hopie Baby Angels...
